On Saturday, January 12, 2019 D-Bar-A Scout Ranch will host a Longhorn Merit Badge Stampede. Scouts BSA registered for this event will be able to meet with qualified councilors to earn the Entrepreneurship Merit Badge, the Salesmanship Merit Badge or both.

• The Entrepreneurship Merit Badge will be offered from 9:00am to 12:00pm
• The Salesmanship Merit Badge will be offered from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
• Lunch break will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, lunch is not provided please pack a lunch or make appropriate arrangements.
• If need, additional completion time for either merit badge will be available from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
• Both merit badge classes will take place at the Martin Administration Building.

The cost for the event:

• Entrepreneurship Merit Badge $20/ Scout BSA registered
• Salesmanship Merit Badge $20/ Scout BSA registered
• Both merit badges will be offered for a total of $35/ Scout BSA registered

Scouts registered for the event must bring a signed Blue Card and Health Forms parts A & B. There must be at least 1 adult leader on site for every unit or individual scout registered for this event. There are several adult volunteer opportunity available while they wait for their scouts. Please email Cassie LeBeau, Ranch Program Director (cassie.lebeau@scouting.org) a head of time to discuss individual opportunities. 

Reference the attachment for all pre-requisites required for both merit badges. Scouts attending this event must bring ALL pre-requisites with them to the Longhorn Merit Badge Stampede. If the pre-requisites are not complete or are not brought with the Scout to the event they will receive a partial for that merit badge
