Cub Scout Cooking with the Scout Executive

Event Details

Hello Cub Scouts and families! Cub Scouts…grab an adult helper and get in the kitchen to prepare a great meal for your entire family on April 28 at 4 PM with Aaron Gach!

 https://meetings.ringcentral.com/j/1482010247

This is a free program, though please RSVP by signing up!

On our virtual meeting we will work with you in real time to prepare the meal, so be in your kitchen with all the ingredients out and ready to go! Below is a listing of ingredients and items you will need to gather in advance to participate. The menu below is estimated for a family of 4, so please expand the ingredient quantities in alignment with your family size.

The main goal of this event is a fun activity with your family, not to fully complete any advancement. While there are only a few specific ranks that have adventures that require your Scout to cook, every age in Cub Scouting learns about helping others (including your family), safety (handwashing), nutrition and more.

If you have a Bear Cub Scout working on the Picnic Basket Adventure, the cooking portion of requirement number 4 can be satisfied by joining us to plan and cook a meal. In addition, this meeting may be helpful to a Webelos Scout working on part of requirement 2 for the Cast Iron Chef.
