Adventure Point COPE Level II Training

Join us April 25th and 26th for Adventure Point's COPE and Climbing Training!
We will be training to facilitate our 45ft tall climbing and rappelling tower, 400ft long zipline, and 6 different Low COPE (challenge course) elements.
Saturday 25th Morning: Climbing tower climbing and rappelling facilitation
Saturday 25th Afternoon: Zipline facilitation
Sunday 26th Morning/Afternoon: Team building and Low COPE elements
Attend all sessions and pass our cognitive and practical exams to receive a full BSA COPE Level II Certification - valid at any BSA facility. Individual program certifications will be awarded to participants who attend a specific session. (i.e. Adventure Point Zipline Facilitator).
No experience is necessary!
Lunch will be provided if you attend both morning and afternoon sessions.
This training is as fun as it is informational; just make sure to wear weather appropriate and active clothing, a water bottle, and shoes for climbing, if applicable. (Any sort of athletic shoe will work.)
*Note: all gear will be provided, but you may bring your own climbing harness and helmet if it has been purchased within the last 5 years. This will be verified by Outdoor Program Manager Hannah Meixner at the beginning of the training. Contact her at hannah.meixner@scouting.org for any questions you may have!
