We are holding our annual Water and Woods Commissioner Conference on Saturday, January 12, 2019 starting with Check in at 9:00 am. The formal presentations start at 9:30 am and we will be finished by 3:00 pm.
The cost is $18 per person which includes coffee, drinks and a pizza with salad lunch.
Wear your Scout uniform Bring paper, pencil, and laptop (If desired).
We are meeting at the Mott Community College Regional Technology Center in Flint. The address is 138 Albert R. Horrigan Dr., Flint, MI 48503. The Center is located on the north side of the Flint campus near the intersection of Robert T. Longway and Albert Horrigan Drive (Kensington Drive)
Our program includes a district’s plan for rolling out ScoutsBSA, a review of the detailed assessment process, reporting on the 2018 Rechartering process, sharing the 2019 Unit & District JTE requirements. Be prepared to discuss how we can improve Roundtables and how we can increase unit JTE participation. We will have some guest speakers from the Michigan Crossroads Council and the Water & Woods Executive Board. We will have a Commissioner recognition ceremony.
We would like your response by the end of the day on January 9th in order to make sure we have enough food ordered, but we will accept you at the door.
