President Ford Youth Popcorn Kickoff

Cub Scout & Boy Scout
Youth Popcorn Kickoff
September 18th 6:30pm
This is a new event designed to excite your Scouts about funding their adventures through popcorn. The event is limited to the first 300 Scouts who sign up. Cost to attend is $2 per Scout. Everything is provided with the registration. Scouts will have full access to the entire park. The Michigan Crossroads Council has committed to renting the entire facility for our Scouts to have fun and learn tricks and trades about the adventures of selling popcorn. All jumpers are required to have a valid safety waiver on file at the park. Jumpers over the age of 18 can complete their own waiver, while children under the age of 18 will need their OWN parent or legal guardian to complete their waiver. If children are coming to the park with an adult who is not their own parent, the child’s own parent will need to complete the waiver online in advance before the child comes to jump. Waiver filled out by an adult who is not the child’s own parent or legal guardian will not be accepted. Unit leaders will not be able to sign for their Scouts.
E-Waivers can be found at: http://airtimetrampoline.com/locations/grand-rapids-mi/e-waiver/
We will have games, prizes, and maybe a special snack for the Scouts. Scouts will learn about setting a goal and the prizes they can earn by funding their adventures through popcorn. They will be able to sample some of the products we have this year and vote on their favorite popcorn. They will learn about safety tips for while they are out selling. They will be able to work on their sales script, and test it out. Going to be loads of fun. We encourage you to get this information out to Parents and Scouts immediately, the 300 open registrations will fill up fast. There is plenty of space for parents to tag along at no charge and hang out in the grandstand.
Registration will not be accepted after 300 Scouts are signed up for the event.
