The Water and Woods Field Service Council will be developing an Operational Plan to be implemented January 1, 2020. A one day “Operational Planning Retreat” specifically for setting benchmarks for council Camping and Activities will be held Sunday, November 3 2019, 1:00 p.m. -4: 00 p.m., at the Michigan State University, Flint Area Medical Education Building, 200 East 1st Street Flint MI, 48502. During this day of brainstorming and planning, volunteer and staff participants will be developing the Water and Woods Field Service Council’s three year operational goals and 2020 strategies and measurable objectives. We look forward to your participation in helping Water and Woods FSC move forward towards better serving the youth in our communities.
A Operational plan is a tool that provides guidance in fulfilling a mission with maximum efficiency and impact.
If it is to be effective and useful, it should articulate specific goals and describe the action steps and resources needed to accomplish them.
Simply put, it is a road map to go from Point A to Point B. It describes, where are we at, where do we want to be and how do we get there.
