Southern Shores recognizes that Volunteers throughout the community are essential to raising the next generation of Leaders.

In 2020, our goal is to create an event where we honor local women volunteers who make Scouting possible.

This year we will celebrate one civic/business leader, one lifetime achievement honoree, and volunteers nominated by units in Monroe, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties.

The achievements of each individual candidate needs to reflect the qualities contained in the Scout Oath and Law.

• All Packs, Troops, Crews in Monroe, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties will have the opportunity to submit one (1) nomination for 2020.
• All Scouting volunteers are eligible for these awards; nominees do not need to be registered Scouters.
• Nominees should be women who have made significant contributions to the Scouting program.
• Each individual nominated by a unit will receive recognition at the July 31, 2020 event
