Join Us for an Action-Packed Morning of Learning, Skills, and Scouting Fun!

Washtenaw Community College is proud to host Merit Badge Day, an exciting event designed for Scouts BSA to explore new interests, dive deeper into their passions, and work toward earning official merit badges — all in a single day! This is more than just a badge workshop — it's a dynamic, hands-on experience where scouts can learn from subject matter experts, interact with peers from other troops, and engage in exciting activities across campus.

What to Expect:

Multiple Merit Badge Classes: Choose from a variety of merit badges featured in WCC’s Automotive Technology, Criminal Justice, Health Sciences and Computer Science Programs!
Experienced Instructors: Led by professionals, educators, and knowledgeable counselors from across the community.
College Campus Experience: Scouts will get a taste of the Washtenaw Community College campus while navigating a safe and inspiring learning environment.

Event Details:

Check-In: 8:00-8:45am
Sessions: 9:00am-Noon
Uniform: Class A required!


What to Bring: Notebook, pen/pencil, water bottle, any merit badge prerequisites and a good attitude. Your active participation is a MUST!
