Section Conclave is the annual gathering of the four lodges of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, known as Section C-2. The Conclave is held the first full weekend of May every year at host lodge locations that rotate around the state. The dates this year are May 4-6, 2018. This weekend is a MUST GO TO event for any Arrowman and is unlike any OA event you will go to all year. You won’t want to miss it!
The theme for the 2018 Conclave is Lord of the Coup and will be at D-A Scout Ranch, in Metamora. There will be many opportunities for yourself and your lodge to show your spirit as the lodges compete for the coup spirit stick. There are lots of things to do while at Conclave, including a big HODAG party at the Friday night bash, valuable information at the leadership sessions, Saturday afternoon recreation, ceremonies competitions, and a closing show that will be off the hook (do they still say that?), as well as special guests from across the realm.
Registration fees for the Conclave are: $30 for youth and $35 for adults through March 30. Starting on April 1, the price rises to $35 and $40, respectively, through the end of the day on April 30, when registration closes. There is NO walk-in registration available for this event. At your local lodge winter banquets each lodge will have a unique conclave button. If you sign up you’ll want to have one. See your lodge chief.
Members of Agaming Maangogwan Lodge – Early Bird Price includes a Lodge t-shirt and flap patch. Regular Price includes the cost to cover the Lodge T-shirt and flap patch.
The Coup Stick awaits the lodge that is worthy to claim it. Will that by your lodge? See you there!!
