Summer STEM Resident Camp offers youth entering 3rd through 8th grade an immersive, hands-on opportunity into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and yes - even some Math.  This is 'fun' learning - with the opportunity to learn 3D design and printing, Circuit Building, Team problem solving with FUN and CREATIVE materials and supplies.  Age specific sessions have been set up so that your child will be with others in their age/peer group and learning will be specially designed to their learning and creative abilities.

Just a few of the areas of STEM EXPLORATION offered this summer:  Photography, Drones, Water/Ecology Study, Solar Energy, 3D Printing, Robotics, Archeology, Astronomy, and also Learn to Solder Circuitry.

Arriving in time for a 'picnic' style dinner the first day will allow campers to get to know our Staff and their fellow campers.  Counselors will help them get settled in their cabins, and they'll take a walking tour of beautiful Camp Teetonkah before gathering around the campfire for s'mores and entertainment provided by their seasoned camp counselor staff.

Their two days on camp will be rich with outdoor exploration, STEM Lab time, and team time in the Makerspace (think Inventor's workshop).  We will focus on learning in unconventional spaces as well, including near the lakefront, in the beautiful woods at Camp Teetonkah, and even in our own planetarium!

Their second evening on camp will include a night hike and star gazing before the final campfire.

We are offering age specific sessions in Girl Only / Boy Only and Co-Ed Sessions.  All campers will be assigned to Counselors who will guide them throughout the day as they move from one engaging hands-on learning area to another.  All meals are served in the Dining Hall, where delicious meets nutritious at every meal.  Daily snack breaks include a trip to the make your own trial-mix station, to ice cold popsicles, and always plenty of fresh water to refill their camp provided water bottles!

Each camper receives their camp shirt and water bottle upon arrival.

** DAY CAMP WEEK is Session 4!  Monday through Friday 9 am - 4 pm, includes lunch, all program supplies, camp shirt and water bottle. Youth entering Grades 3rd through 6th will attend the same GREAT Program but get FIVE days to enjoy their camp experience!  No overnighters will be on camp during this session - it is reserved for DAY CAMPERS ONLY!   Parent Guide for Day Campers will be online by March 10th, however, there will only be a few changes from the Overnighters Camps. **

Parent Guidebook's will be mailed out and posted on our website in early January and will include all of the information you'll want about what to pack/bring, how our Camp Health Officer will handle necessary medications, addressing any special needs your camper may have and more.

All of this for $200 per youth (two night experiences) - that's only $4.00 per hour of fun!

One night experiences (Session 7A & Session 7B) are specially designed for the younger campers,(3rd/4th grade) who may not be quite ready for a full overnight camp experience on their own.  A parent may spend the night ($35 includes lodging and meals) and be 'close by' if/when your young camper needs you.
