Training is an important part of being a leader. Being trained for your position will give you the tools to
be confident in your leadership role and ensure that our youth have a positive experience that will last a lifetime.

Cub Scout Leadership:
Cubmaster and Assistant Cubmaster
Den Leader and Assistant
Pack Committee

Scouts BSA Leadership:
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster
Troop Committee Challenge
Merit Badge Counselor + Board of Review Orientation

Most courses will end around 11:00 a.m.
Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster training will end around 2:00 p.m.
Lunch (pizza!) will be provided, for those who want to stay.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - Registration Closes on March 23, 2019

To be respectful of our volunteer trainers' time, registration will be closed one week prior to the course.
Courses with zero registrations will not be held and those instructors will be available for other activities.
To register go to www.michiganscouting.org, select the red “Take Training” tab under the picture, then
scroll down to the date of the course and select the course you need – be sure to read the location information
as there may be classes taking place in other parts of the Council on the same day.
