ESCI Wilderness First Aid Course
ECSI Wilderness First Aid training provides 2 year certification for the assessment and treatment for ill or injured people in a remote environment where definitive care is more than an hour away, and the prevention of emergencies in remote locations.
This course also combines the required CPR certification on Friday night followed by WFA (16 hours) on Sat & Sun. The cost includes meals and training materials
Adult and youth scouts over the age of 14 are invited to participate and earn their certification. Additionally, units leading High Adventure trips must have at least one adult certified with WFA.
Course Schedule
Day 1 - CPR for Adult, Child and Infant 6p-8p
Day 1 can be skipped with current CPR certification and card presentation at the start of class.
Day 2- 7am start with 10 hours of instructor-led training consisting of Powerpoint and Scenarios
Be prepared to get dirty
Day 3- 7am start with 6 hours of instructor-led training consisting of Powerpoint and Scenarios
