SATURDAY & SUNDAY (April 27th –28th) -- $49

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills –Boy Scout Leaders

>Skills Covered: camp setup, outdoor cooking, woods tools, ropes & knots, campfire programs, map reading and compass skills, hiking and packing techniques, nature identification, Outdoor Ethics,  fire building, and basic backpacking skills.

>Experience the “Patrol Method”

>Develop teaching and motivating skills of youth using  “EDGE”

>Build a Scout Leader resource network

Course starts at 8 am on Saturday, April 27th and ends at 11:30 am Sunday, April 28th.

 

This course is required segments to becoming a “trained” leader.  Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Webelos leader, Troop Committee member, Charter Organization Representative, or parent – All are welcome
