Sign-in: Parents/leaders please accompany your scout to sign them in at the center lobby of the science center. 

Prerequisites: - These both take time – start now or do them as a troop!
Digital Technology: Requirement 1 – Valid Cyber Chip
Citizenship in the Nation: Requirement 3 – Five days of news

***FREE***Nova Counselor Training

9:30 am - 10:30 am - At MB College

Come learn about becoming a Nova Counselor for your Pack, Troop, or Crew.  Are you interested in helping the Scouts in your unit follow the STEM Trail?  Would you like to help them navigate the NOVA Awards?  Join us and learn more.  We will offer the FREE Nova Counselor Training while your Scouts are in their Merit Badge session, first thing in the morning.

Already a registered leader?  Nova Counselor is a FREE position with the BSA, and will be a dual role for you.  Bring a copy of your most recent application, or your BSA Membership number and a copy of most recent Youth Protection Training certificate.  We'll provide the Nova Counselor Application.

Not a registered adult leader?  No problem!  Nova Counselors are a FREE registration, and we'll have the BSA Adult applications and the Nova Counselor applications you'll need.  Following this training, you'll need to complete the online Youth Protection Training and provide a copy of your completion certificate before we submit your BSA Membership application.
