Hiawathaland Spring Camporee 2026
May 15-17, 2026 at Camp Hiawatha

The Amazing Race is the Theme. Race around camp competing in 10 team building challenges as a patrol. Bring your own unit food, like all camporees. This is for Scouts, BSA/Venturing Youth. Cost is $10 per person, and we are working on a very unique patch.

The Amazing Race Theme-10 events
Start
• Parking lot
Archery
• 10 arrows (per scout)
Slackline
• Obedient Bike Trail
Bear Bag
• Bear Bag behind ATV trail
• 50–75 ft rope (tie all bags together, lift up to 12’)
Sand Trap
• Fill sand bags (2 bags per patrol)
• Bring to Wigwam, dump the bags, bring back wheelbarrow
Bucket Brigade
• At Site 9
• Fill buckets, bring back to fill larger bucket
• Fill up water guns to fire at a target
Orienteering
• Small course through the pine plantation
Fire Building
• At Site 10 build the fire, burn the string
Bike Relay
• At High Adventure
• 5 laps, 1 lap each scout
Ecology
• Rock, Tree Identification
Flag Raise
• Build a self-standing flag pole (10’ pole)

Lunch will be done on the Trail. Bring sack lunches. Other meals are to be done as a Troop.
Patrol with the best time wins!
