Flint Firebirds Hockey Scout Night & STEM Nova Overnight

• Scouts who attend the game will receive a NEW Flint Firebirds' STEM Patch
• Scouts who attend the game and overnight will receive a patch and a NEW Flint Firebirds' Scout Puck

Tickets are available to either attend the game AND the overnight or JUST the game itself

Game Price: $10 Scout; $10 Adult (Silver Level game tickets)

Game + Overnight: $30 Scout; $20 Adult (Silver Level game tickets)

Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts are welcome to attend!

Join us for a night of STEM & hockey with the Flint Firebirds! It will be an unforgettable night of fun, STEM, and non-stop action that you won't want to miss! Scouts will participate in pre-game activities to work towards STEM Nova Awards, attend the game with fun activities to complete, play games and finally, watch a movie with a snack in the Dort Federal Event Center Field House on the indoor soccer turf field.

Before the game Cub Scouts will work on earning their Tech Talk STEM Nova Award by checking out and learning about how technology is used in the arena by touring their broadcasting & production studios, press box, and more! After tours Cub Scouts will have the opportunity to watch an alumni hockey game and the Firebirds warm up for the big game!

Boy Scouts will also receive tours of the facility and then they will start working on earning their Designed to Crunch STEM Nova Award. 

During the game all Packs and Troops will be recognized on the big screen for attendance. Cub Scouts will be tracking fun statistics that will occur during the game while Boy Scouts collect data on various players to be analyzed after the game (Designed to Crunch #3c).

After the game Scouts will learn more about their statistics from the game and will be able to participate in more fun activities. Following that will be a snack and movie in the Dort Federal Event Center Field House, where Scouts will stay the night on the field.

Cub Scout groups with over 4 Scouts attending overnight must provide a minimum of 2-deep leadership.

Pick up for all Scouts will be at 8:00am Sunday morning. All Scouts need to be picked up by 8:30am.

Dinner, drinks, breakfast in the morning & snacks will NOT be provided, however the concession stands will be available at regular price during the game. Scouts ARE allowed to bring their own snacks for after the game.

At registration, Unit Leader MUST fill out Dort Event Center waiver for all Scouts attending the overnight from their unit.

Scouts who are attending only the game will need to provide $5/vehicle for parking at the Dort Event Center.

Registration begins at 3:15; Overnight STEM Activities begin at 4:00pm; Game versus Sarnia Sting begins at 7:00pm; Overnight STEM activities continue after game until 11:45pm; Pickup at 8:00am Sunday February 26.
