When: Saturday February 23rd, 2019- 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Learn how to respond to a live wire that might fall outside your house.
Learn how electrical currents run through your home.
Learn how to treat someone who has touched a live wire.
Join us for an engaging day learning about simple circuits, parallel circuits, and even build your own, while working on the Electricity Merit Badge. Scouts will get to learn from members and CEOs of companies created at the Innovation Hub. For more information about the Innovation Hub follow this link: https://www.gvsu.edu/mihub/
Scouts will complete the pre-requirements below, which will prepare them to complete the Merit Badge under the expert instruction of REAL Electrical Engineers.
Pre-Requirements - MUST be completed before attending this event in order to have your Merit Badge Blue Card signed off at this event:

Requirements Scouts will engage in hands-on learning at the event:
1, 3, 4,5, 6,7, 11

Lunch will not be included - Scouts will need to bring a packed lunch. Bottled Water will be provided, please do not bring beverages.
Scouts should wear Field/ Class A Uniform.
