Cub Scouts are invited  to "A Taste of Day Camp"  on Saturday, July 28 at Fenner Nature Center 2020 E. Mt Hope Ave.  Lansing, MI 48910.

This event is for all Tiger Cubs through Webelos Scouts.  Cubs will have fun outdoors participating in a few events common to 2-4 day long day camp programs.  Events could include:  Shooting Sports (Archery, BB Guns, Slingshots), Scouting Skills, Craft project, Team Building games, Sports, relays, Nature hikes.  We will also do a small service project for the park.

Registration and check-in begins at 8:30 AM.  Program begins at 9 AM and runs until approximately 3:30 PM.

All attendees need to bring a sack lunch in an insulated cooler.  Camp will provide water. Other suggested items to pack include:  Sunscreen, insect repellent, and hand sanitizer.  Please wear closed toe shoes good for hiking and running and bring a rain poncho.

Also, all attendees need to bring to camp a completed health history (parts A & B) which can be downloaded from this site.

Cost is $15 per Cub Scout (includes park use, patch, program supplies, and all activities) and $2 per adult (covers insurance).

We will need adults to help on staff.  If you serve on staff, we will waive the $2 adult fee.
