Sporting Clays Classic (Kent County Conservation Club)
The President Ford Council of the Boy Scouts of America is sponsoring a premier sporting clays event unlike any other shooting event held in West Michigan.Shooters will experience a spring afternoon on an excellent sporting clays course that includes:
•Golf carts for each team to transit between shooting stations
•Ammunition, gun cleaning
•Shooting instruction if requested
•Social hour after, including hors d’oeuvres, premium beverages, and cigars.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the nearly 20,000 young men and women in North and West Michigan.
The Scouts’ program offers many outdoor badges for achievement in rifle and shotgun shooting, archery, camping, forestry, conservation and environmental science. Last year, 3,000 Scouts earned their shooting sports badges and thousands more had their first opportunity to learn and practice safe shooting with BB Guns and on the archery range.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the sport of shooting clays while providing support for Michigan’s youth. Come join us in supporting the Boy Scouts and enjoy a spring day shooting with friends.
