Fall Camporee- Lansing

Event Details

Mission to Mars Camporee!

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing and the Boy Scouts that walked on the moon, join us at the Chief Okemos District camporee October 18-20 at Burchfield County Park for our next adventure - Mission to Mars! Learn how to make a flashlight out of a potato, launch rockets, learn Klingon, and much more! Build and bring a cardboard rocket and race your fellow scouts to Mars. Hosted by Troops 763 and 141, this camporee is guaranteed to be out of this world!

Cost is $16 for Scouts BSA, Venturing youth and Webelos until October 11th and $25 after up to October 16 midnight.

Burchfield Park Charges a vehicle entry fee for any vehicles that will be in the park all day or overnight ($3 per car for Ingham County residents and $5 for everyone else.  To help with this, each unit will be provided with 2 vehicle passes per unit and 1 additional pass for each 5 Scouts that attend the camporee. (passes presented to each unit, not to individual families attending)  We are figuring out the plan to distribute these to each unit.

Adult fee is $10.
