Wednesday, August 14, 2019 - 9:30am to 3:00 pm


Boy Scout Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge Day
Boy Scouts will complete steps 1, 2c, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge. Scouts will explore the Gerald R. Ford Museum and learn important lessons of character and leadership taught through the example of President (and Eagle Scout!) Gerald R. Ford. (note: this is NOT an overnight event; class is 9:30-3:00 each day) Scouts should dress in uniform. No Refunds after August 6, 2019. 

Limit: 40 participants Registration Deadline: August 6th, 2019 or until full


Fee: $20/Scout (includes program and pizza lunch)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Scouts must bring the Citizenship in the Nation: Merit Badge Series handbook with them. Scouts will need to complete steps 2 a, b, or d, AND step 3 before or after their visit to earn the Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge. If completed beforehand, Scouts must bring written documentation on the day of the program to discuss with Merit Badge Counselor. Scouts should also come prepared to write a letter to an elected official and must know their address and zip code to do so.
