Scouting 110 Years Ago/A Day at Brownsea Island: The return of the Ottawa Camporees, The Brownsea Island Camporee promises to be the biggest event in 2021. Games, demos, and a giant campfire all based on the 1907 First Scouting Encampment at Brownsea Island. Each participant will be given an official BSA Walking Stick. This event is for all of Scouting: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, Sea Scouts, and Explorers.

Each Participant will be immersed in the Scouting culture of 1907 while they complete activities built around the same activities as the participants of the 1907 encampment. Each youth will receive a package that includes a custom patch, wrist band, Scout stave (walking stick), and a stick medallion.  There are many ways to decorate your Scout stave and there will be a station to do just that.

ADULT BLING: Payment of $10 for Hiking Staff, & Staff Medallion is active NOW! If you have already registered look-up your registration and find the adult wanting to purchase the Bling Package and select "Update Information". If the check box for "Hiking Staff & Staff Medallion" already says "YES" select "NO" and click "DONE" (this is to reset the field). Select "Update Information" again. Now check the "YES box and click "DONE". You will now see the $10.00 charge is added to your registration. You must check-out again to pay the additional fees. TO RECEiVE THE ADULT BLING ITEMS YOU MUST COMPLETE THESE TASKS EVEN IF YOU'VE ALREADY REGISTERED. If the "NO" box is already checked or you are registering a new adult you just need to select the "YES" button and you will be charged automatically and after checking out your adult will be in the list to get the BLING Package.

TRADING POST: There will be a Trading Post open during the camporee with various Scouting Memoriabilia available as well as the Brownsea Camporee Patches, Hiking Staffs and Staff Medallions. All items will be in limited supplies so come early.

REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER 6 TO GUARANTEE THAT PATCHES, HIKING STICK & MEDALLION WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE CAMPOREE (Later registrations may get these items after the event).
