Adventure Point COPE/Climbing Training

Event Details

Join us on October 20th for Adventure Point's COPE and Climbing Training!

There are many different facets of this training, and we would love to see you at one or all of them!

Learn how to facilitate climbing and rappelling on our 3-story climbing tower from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Be trained to run our exciting 500 ft zipline from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

No experience is necessary!

Lunch will be provided at noon for volunteers participating in morning and afternoon trainings.

This training is as fun as it is informational; just make sure to wear weather appropriate and active clothing, shoes for climbing, (if applicable. Climbing shoes, tennis shoes, or boots work fine,) a water bottle, and a positive mental attitude!

*Note: all gear will be provided, but you may bring your own climbing harness and helmet if it has been purchased within the last 5 years. This will be verified by Outdoor Program Manager Hannah Meixner at the beginning of the training. Contact her at hannah.meixner@scouting.org for any questions you may have!
