The Chippewa District troops are hosting a free all-day basic life skills day on Saturday, September 27, 2025, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Camp Rotary/Wolcott Mill.  The activities are geared to youth in grades 5 to 7.  Please dress for the weather.

Schedule

• Check-in for perspective scouts, AOL scouts, and parents is 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM
• Welcoming games 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM.
• Opening 9:00 AM
• Morning scout skill sessions:  9:30 AM to 11:45 AM 
• Lunch provided by the troops (each youth/scout and their parent/guardian will be matched to a troop for lunch:  11:45 AM to 1:00 PM
• Afternoon scout skill sessions:  1:00 PM to 3:25 PM
• Scouts own service:  3:30 PM to 3:45 PM
• Program closes:  4:00 PM.

• Bobcat rank requirements
• Estimation
• High Tech Outdoors
