Cub Scout Leader Training plus Youth Protection Training is being held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Dorsey House Restaurant (Game Room) 6008 Beard Rd.  North Street, MI 48049 from 2:30pm-5pm.  This training is being held between Session 1 and Session 2 of Mom & Me camping.  For the boys coming to camp with their Mom's, we have supervised activities and a movie planned.

This course will provide den leaders and assistants the basic training needed to be successful with Cub Scouts and their families.  It will also provide Committee Members, Pack Trainers and Cubmasters the knowledge to lead a successful pack.

Please register online so we know how many to expect. The cost is $2 for participants and $1 for staff. (Please register here to RSVP and you can pay at the door. Each Pack leadership position will be trained this day:  Cubmaster, Assistant Position Specific Training; Tiger Cub Den Leader Position Specific Training; Cub Scout Den Leader and Assistant Position Specific Training; Pack Committee Member Position Specific Training and Webelos Den Leader and Assistant Position Specific Training.

Since we will be training at the restaurant, Den Leaders and Cub Scouts are welcome to bring money to purchase their own snacks, food, and beverages.  The Dorsey House is about a fifteen minute drive from Silver Trails Scout Reservation, where the Mom and Me Camping will be held.
