Building Character Celebration Grand Rapids
Keynote Speaker: Eagle Scout, Astronaut Gregory Johnson
Distinguished Citizen Recipients: David and Judy Frey
The Building Character Celebration was born from decades of annual recognition events honoring the highest youth achievers in the Scouting program, Eagle Scout and Summit Award recipients. Today the Building Character Celebration continues as the largest and strongest community event in Michigan, if not the nation, celebrating the Scouting program with the honoring of our previous Eagle Scout and Summit Award Recipient Class at the heart of the program.
This gala style dinner event begins in the evening with a reception followed by dinner. Our stage program honors and recognizes the previous year’s class of Eagle Scouts and Summit Award Recipients. Each year at the event we award our annual North Star award and NOESA. Our event is capped with a keynote address by a special guest speaker that shares a message about or related to the mission/values of Scouting.
Registration Opens: 5:00 p.m.
