Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, Sea Scout Ships, and Explorer Posts are all invited to help those in need.  The Great Lakes Field Service Council will conduct it’s Scouting For Clothing Drive this Spring!  This service project is simple and effective.  We will distribute door hangers to all participating Scouting programs in March 2019.  On Saturday, April 6 scouts will canvas local neighborhoods with the door hangers.  The following Saturday, April 13 scouts then return to those residences and pick up any bags of clothing left on the doorstep.  These bags will then be brought to one of our collection centers throughout the council.  Please visit www.michiganscouting.org/sfc-greatlakes/ for the latest list of collection points.  We will keep all participants informed as we confirm these collection points.  

We ask that interested youth please ask your local leader to sign up your Pack, Troop, Crew, Ship, or Post. During the registration process, let us know the city or community you'll cover as well estimated number of youth and adults.  There will be a patch available for purchase that is only available to registered units.  So, don’t delay and sign up now so we can get you started!
