All packs are invited to join us for the 2022 Chief Okemos District Webelos Woods event being held Sept 30 - Oct 2  at the East Olive Community Center.  

This event will be a patrol based event where Cubs and their parents can learn about the Scouts BSA patrol methods as well as interact with youth and leadership from the troops in your surrounding area. 

Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts will be able to choose 3 pins from the list and will have the opportunity to earn any other pin(s) listed:

• These classes are for Webelos Scouts:
• Walkabout
• Cast Iron Chef
• Stronger Faster
• First Responder

• These classes are for Arrow of  Light:
• Building a Better World
• Scouting Adventure
• Outdoor adventure

There will be plenty of group activities as well as a patrol Dutch Oven cook off on Saturday night. Parents can participate in some educational and informative sessions about what they can expect from Scouts BSA.  

All participants are expected to provide their own tent for sleeping and sleeping bags and proper attire for the weather.  You will be outdoors all of the time.   

Each Pack will be responsible for providing 2 adult leaders for their unit to exceed no more than 8 youth. (Must follow BSA guidelines for female leadership).  Also, one additional leader is needed for every 4 additional youth. 

Cost is:
Webelos/ AOL- $35
Adults- $15

SCOUT BSA Troops Hosting Webelos and helping staff the event need to register as staff. Registration for host troops is free. Email Nathan Chance for Staff code:  nchance54@gmail.com  

Fee covers meals, patch, program, facility use etc.

Camp will provide the following meals:  Dinner Saturday.

Host Troops will need to provide the following meals: Friday Cracker Barrel (Snack), Saturday Lunch, Cracker Barrel (Snack) Saturday night and Breakfast Sunday morning

NOTE:These requirements will apply to all youth and volunteers and event staff participating in event.
