Scouts BSA Troops/Venturing: Theme Scouting RoundUp
Saturday, October 3rd, 9am start
Unit Food: Camporee style patrol cooking of your own for food
Troops and Packs Can camp overnight at camp. Just let us know.
Activities: 
Crosscut Saw, Lasso, Orienteering Competition, Scavenger Hunt, Cowboy Action Shooting

Pot Luck Style Sat. Evening Meal: Bring a Cowboy themed main dish to share and a Cobbler to share.

Webelos Weekend

Scouts, BSA Troop 408 would like to invite you for a weekend campout. If you are a Webelo’s/Arrow of LIght or are 10 years old and in the 5th Grade. We would like you and a parent to come out and enjoy the day and night with us. Our troop will camp out overnight and you are invited to stay with us. If you would like to come out and spend the weekend with us please register for the event online as Webelos/AOL participants: 

Here’s what you need to bring.

A change of clothes - Sleeping bag – Pad to sleep on – Cup, Bowl and Spoon - Rain suit or poncho - warm jacket and hat – Tent or the Troop will supply one.

Food- Bag Lunch and– one carrot – one potato – ¼ pound of Hamburger- 2 packets of oatmeal and 2 packets of hot cocoa.

9:00-10:00      Get to know you games

10:00-11:00    KICKBALL

11:00-12:00    Nature Hike

12:00-1:00      Lunch

1:00-4:00        Scout Skills Fire building, First aid, Knots lashing, Compass Games

4:00-5:00        Supper Preparation

5:00-6:00        Free Time Set up campsite play games

6:00-7:00        Supper and Clean up

7:00-Dark       Steal the Flag Game

9:00                 Campfire

11:00pm         Lights out

Sunday          

7:30                 Rise and Shine

8:00                 Breakfast

9:00                 Pack up and go Home

This day is packed full of fun things to do.  It will give you an idea of what camping with Scouts, BSA is all about. I hope you will come and join our troop for this exciting weekend.
