Where: Camp Hiawatha
Purpose for this adult retreat is to bring the district adult leaders together and discuss ways to improve the scouting program in the Hiawathaland District. Strengthen the district committee with new Ideas and find new members for the district committee. Without Your Participation and your Ideas our district cannot properly function. With your Help we want to build a strong scouting community. This retreat we feel is the step in the right direction. With Joining the Michigan Crossroads Council, we feel there is a need for us to gather and come up with a plan as to how we can help scouting grow and better serve scouting in the upper peninsula. MCC has a lot of resources, and we would like to discuss some of them with you.

The cost is $25.00 to cover food and the use of camp.
Camping will be in tents. Contact us if you need other arrangements. Coming for just Saturday is an option.

This is the time to let your voice be heard on what you would like Scouting to look like here in the MCC and the U.P. Please share this with all your parents in your Unit.

Topics of discussion will include: Unit/Membership Renewals, Membership Recruiting/Growth, Scouts BSA/Cubs Breakouts on Program & Training and National Updates. We need your voice at this event to help us grow Scouting in the U.P.

Friday Night
Social time 7-10PM Refreshments
This will be an informal meet and greet a time to get to know each other, tell stories and find out more about each other. This icebreaker style of activity will help us be able to communicate with each other better when we do our breakout sessions.
