Strategic Training Planning Meeting

The Mayflower Council Training Committee is having the second Strategic Training Plan meeting to align the Training Goals with the Mayflower Council Strategic Plan.
As an experienced member of Scouting America, you have the opportunity to come and share your thoughts and ideas on creating our roadmap to 2029. Your valuable experience is welcome as we develop a new training strategy for the Mayflower District/Mayflower Council. Planning is an organized activity we use to identify specific needs, set priorities, focus our energy and limited resources, and ensure that our fellow volunteers work toward a common goal.
Creating the Mayflower Strategic Training Plan will also help inform others about the direction training will be moving in the future to meet Scouting America and Mayflower Council Goals.
In Lewis Carroll’s book, Alice in Wonderland, Alice comes to a fork in the road and asks the Cheshire Cat which path she should choose. The cat explains that it depends on where she wants to go. The Mayflower Council Strategic Plan has given us the 'where to go,' and we are excited to join the momentum the Executive Committee and Executive Board have created for our youth and our Volunteer Leaders.
PLEASE log into My.Scouting.org and complete the "Strategic Training Plan" 46 Minute Module from the training catalog, which is strongly encouraged to enable your full participation.
And remember: the essence of strategy is choosing what not to do.
