Start Your Engines! Mayflower Council Pinewood Derby – Saturday, May 9th!

Attention all speedsters! It’s time to race, roar, and rocket down the track! Packs, get your top 3 finishers from each rank year ready to show off their racing skills. Extra spots are open for racers — and newly crossed-over Arrow of Light Scouts are revving to join the fun!

Location: First Congregational Church, Norwood

Check-In & Race Times: (the track waits for no one — latecomers cannot join once the race starts!)

Lion / Tiger Racers (ranked separately) – Pit Stop Check-In: 11:45 AM

Wolf / Bear Racers (ranked separately) – Pit Stop Check-In: 1:00 PM

Webelos & Arrow of Light Racers (ranked separately) – Pit Stop Check-In: 2:00 PM

Adult Crew / Volunteers – Check-In: 3:30 PM

Important: Please be on time! Once your race starts, we cannot add anyone to the track. Don’t miss your chance to race!

Big-Screen Action: As your car zooms down the track, your photo and your car will appear on the big screen for everyone to see — instant racing glory!

Awards: Winners will be recognized and awards will be given out after each race, so bring your speed and your cheering squad!

Adults, get ready to relive your Cub Scout days! Come race or join in the fun. Adults can also purchase a patch for $5 to show their participation and support.

Pinewood Derby cars are available for purchase at the Council office so everyone can hit the track.

Get ready to rev your engines, feel the thrill, and chase that finish line! Spectators and pit crews, bring your cheers — this is going to be a full-throttle day of racing excitement!
