IOLS stands for Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, a hands-on training course for adult leaders in Scouting America.

It provides the basic outdoor skills needed to lead Scouts, including camping, cooking, rope work, first aid, and navigation.

Completion of IOLS, along with other requirements, is mandatory for Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters to be considered "trained".

What you will learn..
