Join us for the 2nd Annual Mayflower Council Dutch Oven Cook-off Competition at Nobscot Reservation!

Register as a patrol (up to 6) or an individual (as a patrol of 1) and compete in one of the following categories: Youth Breakfast, Youth Dinner, Youth Cracker Barrel, Adult King of the Cast Iron (open category). Judges will choose the top 3 dishes in each category while participants and spectators will vote for the Fan Favorite Dish to receive the Mayflower Wooden Spoon Award! Check-In will begin at 10:30am with Cooking to begin at 11:00am and judging to commence at 1:00pm. Patrols will need to provide their own cooking ingredients, a 3 bin wash station, a stove to boil water for sanitization, Troop/Patrol Flags, Trash bags, Cooking Utensils, charcoal and of course a Dutch Oven!

Each registered patrol will be provided with a fire pit for cooking, serving bowls and utensils for judges, 1 pack of tasting containers and utensils for spectators, 1 box of gloves, and a Commemorative Dutch Oven Cook-Off Patrol Ribbon.

This event will take place at Haydenland sites of the Nobscot Scout Reservation
