Citizenship in the World Merit Badge at the Nature Center

Badge Course for complete credit!

Requirements to complete BEFORE session: #1, 3B, 7A & 7B

Join our Merit Badge Counselors at the South Shore YMCA Nature Center for an opportunity to work
toward your Citizenship in the World Merit Badge!

This program will help Scouts explore what it means to be a citizen of a global community. We’ll discuss
different cultures, international relationships, global organizations, and the ways people and countries
work together to address challenges that affect us all.

Scouts will learn about their responsibilities as citizens of the world and explore how communication,
cooperation, and understanding different perspectives can help create a more connected and respectful
world.

Come ready to learn, participate, and expand your perspective as we explore what it means to be a
citizen of the world!

Registration is required in advance. Limited spaces available – sign up early to secure your spot!

Check-in will begin at 12:00 PM with the Badge session starting at 12:10 PM.
