BALOO THE BUILDER WORKSHOP

Baloo the Builder is a required adventure belt loop for all 3rd Grade Bear Cub Scouts. We understand that some of the requirements for this adventure may not be easily accessible to our volunteer leaders and as such we are happy to help out!

Our Baloo Workshop is a 2 to 2.5 hour event that can be held at a council property for $175 or at a pack hosted location for $200. This is a council employee run meeting which includes introduction and hands on practice with basic hand tools and saws, explanations/demonstrations for common power tools, all supplies needed to complete two wood building projects, and hands on instruction to build the projects.

Upon completion of this workshop, all Cub Scouts will have completed the necessary requirements to earn their Baloo the Builder Belt Loop and will leave with the knowledge of how to use basic tools to build both useful and fun projects.
