Event Details

The Adventure Awaits

This isn’t just a campout — it’s a full immersion into the world of aviation, and Scouts will complete all requirements for the Aviation Merit Badge during the weekend!

Here’s what’s cleared for takeoff:

Discovery Flights & Flight Simulators – Step into the pilot’s seat and experience the thrill of flight.

Aircraft Up Close – Walk among antique aircraft, experimental planes, business jets, and more during our static displays.

Live Flight Demonstrations (weather and mission permitting) featuring:

  • Massachusetts State Police
  • Boston MedFlight
  • United States Army National Guard
  • United States Air National Guard
  • United States Coast Guard

Meet the Experts – Airline pilots, military aviators, mechanics, flight crews, and dispatchers will share their journeys and show Scouts the many career paths in aviation.

Hands-On Engine Displays – See a variety of aircraft engines up close — including an Airbus A320 engine!

Special Demonstrations (FAA approval pending) – Possible hot air balloon demo and a session exploring drone technology.

Future Aviation Opportunities – Learn how to turn a passion for flight into a career with presentations from Cape Cod Community College and Bridgewater State University.

Campfire & Fellowship – Close out Saturday with an aviation-themed movie and Scout fellowship under the night sky.
