American Red Cross CPR/FA Instructor Course

Event Details

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level).  The program consists of 2-parts: an online portion and then an in-person Session that is for only one day.

Instructor candidates MUST complete the online portion before attending the in-person session.  The online portion consists of an orientation of the American Red Cross, the FA/CPR/AED program, and the FA/CPR/AED Instructor course.  It also covers how to prepare and teach the courses as well as a final exam.  The online session should take approximately 2 hours to complete.  This online portion/training link will be sent via email when registration closes.

Registration closes on December 16th, 2023

The In-Person Session allows students to participate in all lesson activities and demonstrate competency in performing FA/CPR/AED, conducting skill practice and assessment scenarios, and evaluating participants’’ progress.

Mayflower Council adults only.  Lunch is on your own.
