American Red Cross CPR/FA Instructor Course

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level). The program consists of 2-parts: an online portion and then an in-person Session that is for only one day.
Instructor candidates MUST complete the online portion before attending the in-person session. The online portion consists of an orientation of the American Red Cross, the FA/CPR/AED program, and the FA/CPR/AED Instructor course. It also covers how to prepare and teach the courses as well as a final exam. The online session should take approximately 2 hours to complete. This online portion/training link will be sent via email when registration closes.
Registration closes on December 16th, 2023
The In-Person Session allows students to participate in all lesson activities and demonstrate competency in performing FA/CPR/AED, conducting skill practice and assessment scenarios, and evaluating participants’’ progress.
