Attention friends, we are excited to announce the 2025 Resolute Challenge Camporee open to all Troops, Crews, Posts and Ships - in and out of the Mayflower Council.

What is the Resolute Challenge?

The Resolute Challenge is a camporee centered around fun, demonstrating Scouting skills, and patrol teamwork. Over the course of a fun-filled weekend, Scout patrols will test themselves in a series of challenges that will demonstrate their Scouting abilities including:

Knots and lashings

First Aid

Orienteering

Tomahawk throwing

Archery Target shooting

Woodsman skills

Fire building

Wild Card events like trivia, riddles, and problem solving

And the finale, the Greased Watermelon Relay

What are we competing for?

Prizes will be awarded for top performing patrols in each event with one overall patrol given the honor of receiving the Resolute Challenge Cup. Scores will be entirely based on a patrol’s performance rather than direct competition against each other. The scoring will be similar to that used in Track and Field events like the Decathlon, where participants are awarded points based on their level of achievement.
