Northern Star Council will be offering Climbing Training for Volunteers - Foundations Level I & II at Stearns Scout Camp on April 7, 8, 9 2017

This is a combined Level I & II Training that is required to open a climbing tower in Northern Star Council as well as the pre-requisite for COPE and Natural Rock training sessions.  

Class covers: The basics of climbing, Belaying and Tower Setup, Tower Management, Adaptive climbing techniques, Climbing Rescues and more.  At the end of the class you will be certified as a Level II Climbing Instructor and can open and manage programs at any of our Councils Towers.  

Schedule for Training:

Friday April 7, 6-9pm (foundations I & II)        (3 hours)

Saturday April 8, 8-9 (foundations I & II)   (13 hours)

Saturday April 9, 8-6 (foundations I & II)   (8 hours)
