Boy Scout Leader Training Weekend
Saturday, May 20th and Sunday May 21st, 2017
Phillippo Scout Reservation (Ramsey Shelter)
Registration both days starts at 7:30 am
Saturday, May 20th, Class Runs from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
This is the outdoor piece of training to have a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster fully trained for their position in the troop. Remember, this is an outdoor class, so dress accordingly!
The $20 fee covers all camp fees and program materials. Please bring a bag lunch.
You are welcome to stay for dinner, but it is not required.
Sunday, May 21st, Class runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Troop Committee Challenge
This is the basic position specific training for any position in a Boy Scout troop except for Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster.
Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Training
This training will cover the position specific details necessary for a Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster to know in their position. This is primarily classroom work, although we may be outside if weather permits.
Youth Protection Training
This is required BSA Youth Protection that must be taken every two years.
The $20 fee covers all camp fees, lunch and program materials.
If you come for the entire weekend, the cost is only $35 and includes dinner Saturday night and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Please remember to bring a bag lunch for Saturday!!

Drinking Cup/Water Bottle/Coffee Mug
Rain Gear
Warm Clothes
Day Pack or Backpack (to carry everything)
Lawn or Camp Chair
Tent and Sleeping Bag (if staying overnight)
