Worlds Longest Hot Wheels Track

Event Details

You are invited to be part of history! On August 9th, Northern Star Scouting will be kicking off our Recruitment Campaign, Race into Scouting by attempting to set a New World record for the longest Hot Wheels Track. Our goal is to have a Hot Wheels Car make it all the way down a 3000 foot track, at St. Croix Crossing (Lift Bridge from Houlton, WI to Stillwater, MN). To make this happen, we’ll need LOTS of volunteers – both youth and adults.  Responsibilities will include track set up, measurement set up, track operation and general cheering!  We’re going to get started at 9:00 am for orientation with setup starting around 10:00 am.  We’re not sure how many attempts it will take, but we’d ask that you plan on being there at least until 2:00 pm. Youth under age of 12 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers will be provided with water, snacks and some special recognition for being part of this historic effort.  Sign up now and expect more detailed instructions as we get closer to the evet.  Scouts and Non-Scouts are invited!  Tell your friends!  Bring your grandparents!  This event is going to be small cars and BIG FUN!
