Leave No Trace Adult Training Course May 3-4, 2025

EVENT DETAILS: Join other Scout leaders at Northern Star Council’s May Spring Training for a fun, hands on experience, to build skills in Leave No Trace! This course is for BSA registered adults who want to improve outdoor experiences, reduce outdoor impacts and practice Leave No Trace!

Who: All  BSA registered adults (NO YOUTH, PLEASE)

When: Saturday morning May 3, arrive 7:45 am. and depart Sunday, May 4 by Noon. 

Where: Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp – Check in at Peterson 2

What: Participate in low impact activities that protect natural resources and outdoor experiences.  Learn Leave No Trace techniques and practice skills to teach skills and short courses to units and districts. Three meals provided. Notify of food allergies or special accommodations needed.

Bring: Health forms, waiver, over night camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pad, tarp, mess kit and cup, water bottle, rain gear, personal items), and snacks.

Cost: $45 per participant registered before April 21, after $55 per participant. The cost covers; materials, facility fees and meals for the weekend.
