Additional Information:
- As a Scouting activity, all participants are required to fill out Part A and B of the Annual Health and Medical Record.
- Each youth needs to bring a pre-filled merit badge card and it is recommended to have a copy of the Graphic Arts Merit Badge workbook
- All Scouts taking the Merit Badge are strongly encouraged to read the Graphic Arts Merit Badge book prior to the event and watch the videos provided in the online merit badge resources page. Graphic Arts Merit Badge | Scouting America
-Scouts prepare a 4" x 4" one-color bold logo (troop logo or personal design). This must be emailed as a PDF to Brian Halloran at bhalloran@northernstar.org by November 13th at 8am. Brian will prep your logo on Friday for the following morning.
-The badge requirement includes producing 20 screen prints. Scouts should bring extra t-shirts from their fellow Scouts. There will be paper provided for anyone that doesn't bring something to print onto. This would be a great opportunity to add a troop logo to any Scouting shirt your Scouts and leaders might want screen printed onto a Scouting T-shirt sleeve.
-After lunch, we’ll tour a professional screen-printing facility in Stillwater.
-Transportation help needed: If you are an adult leader at camp and can assist with transporting Scouts for 1–2 hours in the afternoon, please let us know.
- Please note there is a limit of 16 Scouts for this event. A waitlist will be used once the limit of Scouts is reached.
- Lunch will not be provided at the event. Scouts attending will need to bring their own bag lunch.
- Scouts attending without a unit should have an adult chaperone on-site. Units participating in the event should provide at least one adult to be present to assist.
