Fall Camporee

Camporee Series Overview

Join your fellow Troops and Crews from across Northern Star Scouting for a weekend of Scout skills, and fellowship during our Fall Camporee weekend. Fall Camporees are an excellent opportunity for your unit to demonstrate proficiency in Scout skills and teamwork. The Fall Camporee event is open to all Northern Star Scouts BSA Troops or Venture Crews regardless of district affiliation. 

The 2023 Fall Camporee will be held on October 13-15 at Phillippo Scout Camp.  Scouts can expect to work on the First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, Fire Safety, and Orienteering merit badges. These badges will not be completed at the event, but most of the requirements will be earned. We hope to see you this Fall!

Event Costs

This year we will be offering an early discount rate!  Get your youth registrations in by Friday September 29th for Phillippo and pay less:  

  • Early Discount Youth $25 (Regular price $35)
  • Adult $15

Webelos and Arrow of Light Scout (4th /5th grade Webelos) Participation

Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts are encouraged to attend, but must register with an attending unit.  This event is considered a transition and retention activity and Webelos can participate alongside Scouts BSA Troops in open activities, but not Merit Badges. Troops are encouraged to put together an activity to do with their Webelos.

Will meals be provided?

Meals will not be provided as a part of the event.  Please plan on developing your own unit menu and providing equipment accordingly.  

Are Health Forms and Pre-Screening Forms required for participants on-site for less than 72 hours?

Yes, all participants remaining on-site will require a Pre-Screening Form and Health Form to be submitted. 

What is the event refund policy?

  • If a cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the event start date, a full refund is issued.
  • Any cancellation made between 30 and 14 days of the event start date will be refunded at 50% the total registration fee. Refunds are not issued within 14 days, except in cases of emergency. 
  • If the event is canceled by the organizer and the rescheduled event date cannot be attended by the participant or group, a full refund will be issued.
