Electricity Merit Badge Day

Dates: Saturday April 20th / Saturday September 14th / Saturday December 14th

Time: All participants should arrive by 8:00 AM for check in. The class will start after check-in at 8:00 AM. 

Cost: $10 per youth participant - adult chaperones are free.*

*All merit badge participants must be pre-registered due to limited space.

Additional Information:

- Scouts are encouraged to wear their field uniforms ("Class A" uniforms) to the Merit Badge Day event.

- Each youth needs to bring a pre-filled merit badge card.  The attached Electricity Merit Badge worksheet is a helpful guide for Scouts to use to track requirement completion during the event (link to the worksheet), but is not required.

- Scouts should complete requirements 2 and 9a ahead of the event and be prepared to discuss with counselors.  

- It is recommended that Scouts review the Electricity Merit Badge book (sometimes referred to as pamphlet) prior to the event.

- Please note there is a limit of 24 Scouts for this event.  A waitlist will be used once the limit of Scouts is reached.  If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by the Sunday prior to the event at 11:59 PM so that your slot may be used by a youth on the waiting list.

- Lunch will not be provided as a part of the event. 

- We are asking each youth registered to have a parent or guardian present, or have a unit leader present in the case of multiple Scouts from the same unit.

- All participants are required to bring a copy of the their Annual Health and Medical Record (health form) to submit at registration.  Copies will be returned to participants at the conclusion of the event.
