Northern Star Scouting Night on the Field 2026

This spring, Northern Star Scouting is partnering with CHS Field and the Saint Paul Saints to offer a robust, engaging overnight experience at CHS Field on Friday, June 19th!

Scouts of all ages and their families will be able to attend the Saints game against the Omaha Storm Chasers. Attendees will get a reserved ticket, a Saint Paul Saints hat, a special Saint Paul Saints/Northern Star Scouting water bottle sticker, and a meal voucher.

Starting one hour after the conclusion of the game, activities will be offered on and off the field, including:

• Inflatable axe throwing/archery
• a movie on the field videoboard (movie tbd)
• Behind the scenes tours of areas of the ballpark not normally accessible to the public
• Speedpitch activity

This is a great opportunity for you to take advantage of with your whole unit or family! For every 20 tickets a unit purchases for the event, they will recieve a free ticket for a youth or adult to use at the event!

We are actively working on the details for this event, and are very excited for the partnership and the opportunity for our Scouts to take advantage of a unique experience! Keep your eyes on this page and the council website as more information becomes available.

Things to Know

• Families are welcome to attend this event without their full unit. This registration is the same for all attendees.
• The food voucher provided is good for dinner during the game. There is currently no breakfast provided in the morning as attendees will need to depart early from the field. 
• Units that attend as a group need to ensure they are following all Safeguarding Youth policies (appropriate youth-to-adult ratios, required male/female adult leaders, etc.)
• Units/attendees are welcome to camp directly on the field in tents. There is a "no stake" requirement, so be prepared to weigh down tents by other means.
• Tickets will be distributed electronically via the Saint Paul Saints Group Distribution tool.
• More information is coming soon about what to expect on the day of the event.
