Northern Star Scouting is excited to partner with the Bulldog Rocketry Club to offer an awesome day of Merit Badges at the University of Minnesota in Duluth!

More details about requirement completion for each badge will be available soon.

Electronics, Engineering, and Space Exploration are all-day programs. 

Chess and Radio are both half-day programs, and will be offered in both the morning and afternoon.

There are additional fees for some of the badges to cover the costs of materials and kits required to complete parts of the respective badges- you will see these fees when you select the classes during registration.

Additional Information:

- Participating Scouts should wear their field uniforms ("Class A" uniforms) to the event.

-  As a Scouting activity, all participants are required to fill out Part A and B of the Annual Health and Medical Record.  

- Each youth needs to bring pre-filled Merit Badge cards and it is recommended to have a copy of the proper Merit Badge workbooks.

- All Scouts taking the Merit Badges are strongly encouraged to read the appropriate Merit Badge books prior to the event.

- Please note there is a limit of 12 Scouts per class.  A waitlist will be used once the limit of Scouts is reached.

- Scouts attending will need to bring their own bag lunch, or can take advantage of the university cafeteria during the event. There is additional cost if you choose this option.

- Scouts attending without a unit should have an adult chaperone on-site.  Units participating in the event should provide adult supervision in line with Youth Protection guidelines.
