Course #1: Individual Archery Rangemaster Training

Instruction and certification for adult leaders to supervise fun and safe use of archery ranges within the Cub Scout program.

• Course: Scouting America Archery Rangemaster
• Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2026
• Time: Check-in at 8:15 a.m., course starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 11:30 a.m.
• Location: Rum River Scout Camp - Weaver Shelter and Archery Range
• Fee: $15
• Notes:
  • No lunch included - a break between courses is scheduled.
  • Dress appropriately to be outside on the range.

Course #2: Individual BB Rangemaster Training

Instruction and certification for adult leaders to supervise fun and safe use of BB ranges within the Scouting America program.

• Course: Scouting America BB Rangemaster
• Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2026
• Time: Check-in at 12:15 p.m., course starts at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 5:30 p.m.
• Location: Rum River Scout Camp - Weaver Shelter and BB Range
• Fee: $15
• Notes:
  • No lunch included - a break between courses is scheduled.
  • Dress appropriately to be outside on the range.

Course #3: Combined Archery & BB Rangemaster Training

Instruction and certification for adult leaders to supervise fun and safe use of archery and BB ranges within the Cub Scout program.

• Course: Scouting America Archery & BB Rangemaster - Covers both certifications in one course.
• Date: Sunday, September 27th, 2026
• Time: Check-in at 11:45 a.m., course starts at 12 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m.
• Location: Phillippo Warming House & Archery/BB ranges
• Fee: $25
• Notes: 
  • Dress appropriately to be outside on the ranges. 
  • No lunch included - bring snacks or lunch that can be eaten during course.

Course #4:  - Range Quartermaster

• Course: Range Quartermaster
• Date: Sunday, October 11th, 2026
• Time: Noon - 4:00 PM
• Location: Phillippo Scout Camp - Warming House , Field next to Warming House
• Fee: $10
• Notes: This is NOT the BSA Rangemaster course.  This course instructs on the proper equipment maintenance of the BB rifles, archery bows, and arrows in use at Northern Star Council.  This course will be strictly in-doors.
