Base Camp Pre-K Days

Fun and active programs for youth ages 2-5 and an adult. Activities include: free play, circle time, games, story and a craft. This Spring, Base Camp will offer four themed sessions.   All sessions run from 9 am to 12:00 noon.   

$10 per child each day or $32 if you sign up for all four days at once; no cost for adults.

01/28/2019 - Snowflakes are Special

We will welcome the winter season by investigating how each and every snowflake is spectacular! Use some great gadgets to get a close-up look at the science that makes crystals so cool, then take your very own to grow at home! As always, we will move our bodies with some fun games and silly songs, and maybe even pop out for a chilly hike!

02/25/2019 - Love Bugs

"Love is in the air!" Come find out all there is to LOVE about this special time of year. Try your shot with one of Cupid's arrows to see if you can hit the bullseye! Then we will create a valentine for someone sweet.   "Smooch!"

03/25/2019 - Searching for Spring

"Chirp, chirp!" It may still be chilly, but I spy with my little eye some signs of warmer times ahead! Do you think you can find some clues that tell us spring is on its way? Come and join us as we learn about one of the best things about this season: MAPLE SYRUP! We will tap a tree and taste some of the sweet flavors while playing some fun games to celebrate the coming season! "Yippee!"

04/29/2019 - Feathered Friends

"Flap, flap!" Turn your eyes to the skies to look for some of our favorite birds that fly through Base Camp's backyard! On our hike we will stop by a special nest and look out over the rivers in search of high soaring avians! "Squawk!"
